Singer/Songwriter JODY BELSHER is currently in the studio recording "Starlight: Songs of Hope and Recovery." This group of original songs are heartfelt musical expressions. The songs extend in meaning to all journeys in life where the need for hope and recovery are present. Whether it be between fractured people, families, countries or individuals. Songs such as "Never Give Up," "On the Same Side," and "It's Up to You Now," are pleas for soul-searching belief in the goodness in the world. "Someday," "Starlight" "Remember" and "I Believe in You," bring the desire for hope to those in need. "Be a Little Bit Gentle" is a guitar ballad reminding us that there are times when we need some tenderness. All the songs are written from an authentic depth, connecting to the listener.

"When people hear my music they always tell me--you should get that in a movie!" says Jody. "I think it's just the style of my writing that lends itself to that genre."
